Website Progress

Hey Guys!

The website for 'DAKOTA' is very near complete. Currently, we are adding the finishing touches to the website to make sure we have added everything, we still need to add some things such as the product details, returns policy, shipping details of the merchandise and the music video itself. The video will be uploaded within the next few days when it has been exported and uploaded to YouTube which will be in the next few days. We finally added the tour dates to the page after a while trying to figure out how to do this. Firstly we had to create a Facebook page for an artist, in which we could add the tour dates through the BandsInTown Manager. This allowed us to link the tour dates between both our website and our Facebook page. We made around 10 tour dates around the UK to make it look more realistic. We also added the album 'PURE HEROINE', using the album cover which we created allowing the fans to either buy the album for £9.99 or each individual song on the album for 99p. This makes the site look more official and professional.

Due to the audience feedback we received, it gave us a good insight into our music video through the eyes of the audience. This enabled us to reflect on the positives and areas of improvement of our overall product and learn from our audience feedback given. It also allowed The majority of people voted positively towards our product, which can be portrayed throughout our video and enabled us to see the different ages and genres react to our products.

Filming: Day Two

Hey guys!  So today we filmed in our second location. We filmed within the woods and next to the pond. We managed to get a wide variety of shots, this includes shots such as a mid shot, high angle, over-the-shoulder, tracking and panning shots to ensure that we had a variety of different shots in different locations to keep the audience interested whilst watching the music video. We made sure on the day that we didn't forget our storyboard, as this would direct us so we miss any shots and risk having to come back to re-film. A problem with re-filming and why we made sure we had a variety of shots was that the weather may have changed or Amy could look different compared to the first shots we took, this would make it as the consistency of the shots would be an issue.  To achieve the shots we used the tripod for stable shots and a shoulder mount for the steady tracking shots.
